Low Volume High Quality Pet Boarding
Ranchside provides high quality pet boarding on-site in China Grove, NC. Our facility is indoors and is climate-controlled for your pet’s comfort. We have a full security system that’s connected with 911 24/7 for your pet’s safety. Our facility is located in a rural residential area, which is a quiet, calm setting for your pet to relax.
A typical day for your pet includes 4 walks throughout the day and dedicated play time with other dogs (as deemed appropriate by our staff based on each dog’s personality and demeanor). The last walk of the day is after 8pm to ensure they’re not spending too much time in their kennel overnight.
Boarding Policies & Information
Thank you for trusting us to care for your pet. We strive to provide the most comfortable and safe boarding experience possible.
For arrangements during boarding, call 704-859-8180 during staff hours. In emergencies, call the same number and leave a message for the on-call doctor.
Ranchside Vet Clinic is open for normal business during the following times:
Monday-Saturday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Normal drop off and pick ups are done during these times and only the day needs to be scheduled. You do not have to specify or schedule a certain time.
Ranchside Staff are on site during the following times after hours:
Monday - Saturday: 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Pick up and drop off time are available during these hours for an additional charge. These do need to be scheduled ahead of time. The doors do not stay open during these times, so you will need to make arrangements prior to arriving at Ranchside to ensure that you can pick up your pet.

Scheduled Walk Times
Walks at 8 AM, Noon, 4 PM, and 8 PM
* We strongly recommend that you bring your pet’s own food to avoid stomach upset.
Feeding Schedule
First feeding around 8 AM; Last feeding around 4-5 PM
* We strongly recommend that you bring your pet’s own food to avoid stomach upset.
Playtime Schedule
One 15-minute playtime is included during the day, usually coinciding with one of the 4 walks.
* Additional playtimes can be purchased for an additional charge.

Ranchside Vets is equipped with both regular and fire security that communicates directly with emergency responders and the veterinary clinic owner. There is also an adjacent home that is occupied by a staff member, so most nights, someone is close by.
No one stays in the building overnight and mid day during the weekend.
We do allow pets to play together in our play yard if they seem compatible. Please let us know if you would rather your pet not interact with other dogs.
